Alloco was started by my father, Ralph G. Alloco, during some of our countries worst economic times. He started working as a mason, a carpenter and a cab driver. In 1952 he and his two brothers founded RVA trucking, one of the largest trucking companies in Western New York. In 1965 he purchased his first small apartment building in a suburb of Rochester. In 1969 he ventured off into the manufactured housing business. I had the privilege to work for my father for several years before we lost him in 1991. At an early age my father instilled in me his strong business values and the main principal to treat each person how you want to be treated. I thank God for the time I had to share with such a special father and businessman. I run my business and my life by those principles each and every day.
